Do you know what the pre-frontal cortex does? The pre-frontal cortex is the part of your brain that makes us not animals, it also controls your decisions. It "contains" all your intelligence. Your pre-frontal cortex matures when you are around 18-21. Now that you know about the pre-frontal cortex, I am going to tell you about the hippocampus. The hippocampus is the part of your brain which stores your memory and associates with emotion. If you damage the hippocampus, you could suffer from brain loss. The amygdala is the place where your fears are stores, sort of speak. If and when you get angry, the amygdala is what is getting all "blurry" and that causes you to make bad decisions. I hope this taught you some information about your lymbic system!
